LK Group achieve CHAS Accreditation
Environmental consultancy LK Group success with stringent health and safety accreditation.
Every month dozens of contractors and consultants apply to be included on tender lists, which demand proof of their Health and Safety credentials Contractor Health and Safety Assessment (CHAS) accreditation applies a consistent bench mark, recognised by an increasing number of both public and private sector clients

Specialist ground engineering solutions company Abbey Pynford will be exhibiting at the London Homebuilding and Renovating Show, which takes place at the Wembley Exhibition Centre 10 - 12 September.
The CHAS assessment scheme measures compliance with health and safety legislation with four out of five small and medium sized companies failing to reach the required standard at their first attempt.

Local authorities and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) developed the CHAS scheme; which can be used by public and private sector organisations when short listing contractors, suppliers and consultants who apply to work for them.
CHAS accreditation recognises a company's compliance with, and management of, basic health and safety law.
Kirby concludes: "LK Group is continually investing in developing safe and effective working practices".
