Lowry Homes Plc announces seven new appointments to assist in maintaining the company's rapid recent growth.

Manchester-based house builder Lowry Homes Plc announces seven new appointments to assist in maintaining the company's rapid recent growth: John Pearson FCIOB joins the company as Construction Director and brings a wealth of experience from within the construction industry to his new role John has spent the last 5 years working in the residential sector on projects for Totty Construction and David McLean

Before this John spent over 25 years with the Alfred McAlpine group, becoming a Director of both the management and building companies.

John Booth has been appointed as Technical Director having 21 years design background in the house-building sector with Bett, Redrow, Fairclough and Barratt.

Prior to this John spent 15 years in both Local Authority and private practice Architectural Departments.

John Neal has been appointed Senior Engineer.

John will now be responsible for managing all engineering aspects of the roads, drainage systems and foundations for new developments, based at the company's Salford Quays Head Office.

John was previously with Southdale Homes Halifax and Barratt Manchester.

Karen Wilford joins Lowry as Partnership and Development Manager.

Karen's role is to mange regeneration partnership, working with a number of local authorities and housing associations.

Holding a Masters Degree in Business Administration specialising in Real Estate and Construction.

Karen has worked for a variety of housing associations and Southdale Homes in Halifax.

Gay Berry is appointed as Training Co-ordinator.

Gay's role will centre on developing the local labour Activity Plan for the company's major inner city regeneration scheme at Maine Road.

Gay hails from Worsley and has worked for Salford City Council, CITB and Oldham TEC.

Vicky Gee has been appointed as Sales Administrator dealing with customer enquiries for new sites and is responsible for providing support for the entire sales team.

Vicky has worked for EM Cor Facilities.

Liverpool University graduate Daniel Chestney rounds off the appointments, joining Lowry Homes as a Trainee Estimator/Quantity Surveyor.

Daniel will produce costings and viability research for both the Land and Commercial Departments.
