Manchester-based new homes developer, Lowry Homes, opens its first Regional Office in the picturesque canal basin in Sowerby Bridge, on July 31st 2006.

Manchester-based new homes developer, Lowry Homes, opens its first Regional Office in the picturesque canal basin in Sowerby Bridge, on July 31st 2006 The new Yorkshire Regional office will be headed by Lowry's Land Director, Ian Walker and will house a complete sales and service team comprising a Regional Sales Manager, Land Buyer, Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyor and Land Manager, plus administration and support personnel

Speaking of the new Yorkshire sales operation, Ian Walker said: "Our mission will be two-fold - to take forward Lowry's future plans for new housing opportunities, and to provide in-depth servicing for our existing local developments.

I am personally looking forward to the strengthening of Lowry's ties east of the Pennines - and coming from Tong near Bradford I'm delighted to be based in my home county once again." Lowry Homes is already well known in the area for its spectacular Grade II listed mill conversions at Oats Royd Mill in Luddenden, near Halifax and the massive Titanic Mill in Linthwaite, near Huddersfield.

The company is also building a variety of 2 and 3 bedroomed homes at High Rigg, Thorpe Edge in Bradford, with an additional 84 new homes at Brooklands in Bramley.
