The Optical Light Engine (OLE) brings a higher level of performance for LED lighting.
It generates typ.
100lux, in 4.2 watts of power and provides huge advantages over both conventional bulbs and other solid-state lighting Traditionally, LED light sources have been constructed using a series or matrix of stem-type or C SMD type LEDs.
The OLE provides a totally new packaging lighting C technology.
It uses a COB packaging of semiconductor chip mounted on a modulated C PCB and a heat sink, which provides much better thermal properties as compared to typical LEDs configuration.
The OLE is allowed to operate at much higher C operating currents than the current LEDs in the market.
The OLE can be driven at 350mA.
The LED colour is defined by the wavelength of semiconductor chip.
The OLE is applied in a MR16 cup with standard GU5.3 base and 12V AC/DC operation with a 30Deg beam.
Plans are on the way for production of a standard MR16 GU5.3 utilizing one Luxeon III.
Production is estimated to start beginning of March with immediate availability.
