The work on the sixth, seventh and eighth floors, follows Lorne Stewart's successful completion of similar work on the building since 2000.
Designer and project manager, David Parsley from Dearle and Henderson, said a speedy completion had been a major priority and to finish ahead of schedule had been especially pleasing.
He commented: "This is prime office space so it was critical that the work was completed quickly and to a very high standard, so that the space could be marketed.
"Lorne Stewart's previous experience of working at Southside meant they were often in a position to address issues before they arose, saving precious time," he added.
Leonard Quy, senior operations manager at Lorne Stewart, said the fast-track manner in which the work had initially been won and then completed was a real achievement.
"The best type of business to win is when it comes on the back of past performance," Quy said.
"It says that the client was delighted with the service we had delivered and had faith that we'd deliver that quality again." Southside provides 300,000 sq ft of floor area, approximately half of which is office space, with a further 150,000 sq ft of retail being occupied by the Army and Navy department store.
Interior Solutions, part of the E and F Group, was the main contractor, and the balance of the professional team comprised Integrated Design Associates (M and E designers) and quantity surveyors Potter Raper Partnership acting jointly with Darville Associates Building Services.
