Independent builders' merchants, Long and Somerville, will be relocating to bigger premises and launching a new Sustainability Centre.

Well established independent builders' merchants, Long and Somerville of Enfield, Middlesex, are once again moving with the times This summer they will be relocating to bigger premises which will not only mean a larger stock range, but also the launch of their Sustainability Centre which will offer a whole range of eco building products

Long and Somerville's environmental statement will encompass an undertaking from all suppliers of their products that they will work towards further improving the eco credentials of their products, including the reduction of waste and packaging around their products and the reduction of transport.

Says director, Robin Somerville, 'as a company we are totally committed to the alternative range of eco building products which we have decided to stock'.

Long and Somerville will offer advice, technical information, and in some cases such as solar panels, installation, to the trade and to the public.

The range of eco products will enable the customer to build from foundations to roof in an environmentally friendly way.
