Light steel frame makes waves on
waterfront
Leading specialist Light Steel Frame Solutions (LSFS) appointed to complete works at the prestigious Grosvenor Waterside development in Chelsea, London.
The use of light steel frame technology has helped to bring a speedy ending to the construction of two residential apartment blocks Through the off-site design, manufacture and installation of 12000m Strucmet structural infill panels to two concrete frame constructions comprising nine and 11 storeys respectively, LSFS was able to facilitate the early release of the individual floor areas and accelerated start dates for both the internal fit out and external cladding installation programmes

Light steel frame technology taken to new heights with Strucmet Elite - a new product innovation from leading specialists Light Steel Frame Solutions.
Throughout the 12-week programme, some 1000m of Strucmet infill panels were delivered and fitted per week and by eliminating the need to coordinate with others trades within a relatively tight working area, LSFS was able to successfully deliver a water-tight external envelope whilst helping to reduce the overall build times.
The infill panels were supplied complete with insulation, carrier boards and fire barriers for quick on-site installation.
All of the systems available as part of the Strucmet range of light steel solutions are designed and manufactured by LSFS' sister company Light Steel Frame Manufacturing (LSFM), at the company's 45,000 sqft purpose built factory in Wrexham.
The fully finished products complete with insulation, internal and external finishes, fixings and cladding as required are then delivered for directly to sites across the UK for installation by LSFS.
