The Luxalon ceilings on the Hunter Douglas stand provoked tremendous interest from the public and designers.
The aim was to create a display that would not only make a showpiece feature in its own right but also emphasise the beauty, versatility and practicality of the product within a home environment.
"Grand Designs is a prestigious show that showcases the cutting edge and all that is best in design for interiors," said David Harris, Managing Director of Luxalon.
"From the moment the show opened, the Luxalon stand was exceptionally busy with customers enquiring about the ceiling systems and how to incorporate them in their own design schemes".
"The show was a resounding success for us".
The exhibition gave many visitors their first opportunity to see how aluminium ceilings can be used to create surprising and dramatic effects throughout the home.
Each ceiling is custom made to enable homeowners to express their individual style while bringing a unique atmosphere to a space.
With a huge choice of colours, reflective finishes and widths, the range also offers a solution for traditional and contemporary interiors.
Extra interest and individuality can be added by using curves and other design features.
Practically, the ceilings are an all-round winner for domestic interiors.
They complement any room and are perfect for areas prone to condensation, such as bathrooms, wet rooms, utility areas and kitchens.
A wipe with a damp cloth is all that's required to keep the ceilings looking good and there is no need for additional maintenance.
Luxalon is already scheduled to be at the next Grand Designs show to be held at Excel on June 8-10 2007.
