The wide range of solid wood ceiling systems available from Hunter Douglas are so versatile that new horizons in architecture are capable of being explored As well as standard interior and exterior material specifications, options also include concave, convex and undulating sections, with vertical or sloping installations, using a choice of open and closed linear, grill and wood veneer tile form systems

The use of natural timber greatly enhances a building's quality, beauty and warmth and Hunter Douglas are committed to the use of environmentally friendly raw materials.

All their wood ceiling systems are FSC rated, to minimize the impact that product production has on the planet.

Hunter Douglas linear solid wood ceiling systems can be manufactured using numerous types of wood, including soft varieties such as European Pine, Larch and Spruce to more exotic specie such as Cherry, Oak and Walnut.

The linear and grill systems can be finished in either a transparent varnish or stained to any paint colour, with overall appearance enhanced by the wood being plain or quarter sawn to maximise it's natural features.

The Wood veneer tile ceiling systems give the true finish of wood but with the additional benefits of fire-retardant finishes, moisture resistance and excellent acoustic performance, making them suitable for practically any application.

The tiles can be installed on visible, semi-concealed or concealed suspension systems and feature authentic touches such as growth patterns, knots and colour variations which add a natural feel to any project.

Various acoustic effects can be created with Hunter Douglas wooden ceilings, dependent upon the use of the space for which the ceiling is designed.

The systems are easily removable to allow access to the void.
