Two Bygone Preferred Installers, Banaglaze and PandP Glass, have achieved BSI Kitemark status for the survey and installation of windows and doors.

Two Bygone Preferred Installers (BPIs), Banaglaze and PandP Glass, have achieved BSI Kitemark status for the survey and installation of windows and doors - and £500 each from Masterframe for their efforts! Managing Director Alan Burgess has offered all BPIs a cash incentive to make the network the most qualified group of installers in the industry.

Buckinghamshire BPI Banaglaze Window Systems met the requirements of the BSI Kitemark scheme for the survey and installation of windows and doors in just five weeks last October 2005.

"We already had most of the recommended procedures in place," says Banaglaze's owner Ian Leigh, "but having BSI status differentiates us.

Masterframe's £500 is a mark of recognition and an acknowledgement of our professional service we give our customers." Surrey-based PandP Glass was audited by a BSI inspector in November 2005.

Managing Director Tom Scanlan gives further details: "We had to prove we work to a quality plan and deliver a consistently high level of service.

Risk assessment and health and safety checking procedures were also examined, as well as training and the measures in place to log customer services and complaints.

We'll be monitored twice a year to make sure we keep standards up.

"Very few window companies in the country have achieved Kitemark status," continues Tom.

"It gives us an edge over the competition.

Masterframe's support was much appreciated - if our other suppliers were half as generous we could have made a profit on the scheme!".
