Behind a curved version of its Thermestra system glazed with large sections of laminated glass, is a Fasad curtain wall.
The company developed a special oval shaped cap as a feature to the horizontal joints while the vertical joints were sealed with silicone.
Amongst the different specification of IG produced for Greenside Place were 6-12-6 units containing either low-emissivity or Suncool Brilliant solar control glass for the inner leaf.
MagHansen's contract also included the production of external metal louvers and involved the supply of extensive supporting steelwork in fabricated hollow section mild steel profiles.
Throughout the 18 month contract MagHansen liaised closely with members of the project team and other package contractors; ensuring the smooth handover of sections to the building despite a complex and demanding construction programme.
MagHansen is part of the Anglo-Scandinavian HansenGroup, one of Europe's leading fenestration specialists in curtain walls, commercial windows, steel doors and fire resistant structural glazing.
The Group has annual sales of some £100 million and employs over 1,000 people.
