The new premises for Mark are at Unit 3E, Moss Road, Witham, Essex CM8 3UW.
These will serve the highly subsidised energy efficiency schemes now available to householders throughout Essex and East Anglia.
These schemes include Energy Care funded by energy suppliers to offer wall and loft insulation, to meet Government targets.
Householders on certain benefits can claim the insulation entirely free of charge.
It is now possible to achieve energy savings worth over GBP2000 per average house over ten years, at current energy prices.
Households are also being encouraged to generate their own power, to save further sums and avoid carbon pollution.
Mark has already installed over one million insulation measures, in almost 2% of the UK's building stock.
These measures have so far saved over GBP250 million in reduced energy usage.
Because of energy price rises additional savings are now running as high as GBP70 million every year.
Chris Hume, Group Development Director of Mark, comments: "We have extended our operations in Essex and East Anglia to save a lot of people a lot of money".
"Energy efficiency is a good thing for everyone: it saves plenty of money, it reduces 'global warming', it makes local air cleaner, and it is tax-free!" There are an initial 29 office and technical personnel recruited locally, and a fleet of 13 vehicles.
Further qualified insulation technicians are now being sought, with progressive skills training available, particularly for cavity wall insulation.
The depot comprises over 7,000 square feet of prestigious offices and warehouse space.
Services provided include cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, timber frame insulation, finance and grant advice and micro-generation equipment.
The depot receives insulation material direct from UK processing plants.
Insulation is stored at Witham and then allocated to 7.5 or 3.5 ton transit vehicles, many of them recyclable, each with two operatives and air operated pumping equipment.
These are sent to homes and other buildings where insulation has been ordered.
Installation in an average home is normally within half a day (walls) or two hours (loft), or three hours (draught-proofing).
The wall and loft insulation is generally made from spinning a wool-like mesh, from volcanic rock, or glass.
This effectively traps air and resists heat transmission.
The Windsave domestic wind turbine is designed to generate carbon-free electrical power for households.
It is installed on roof-tops in prime positions to capture 'free' energy from the wind.
Similarly Mark installs solar panel hot water heating systems in prime positions to capture 'free' solar energy.
