Middlesbrough-based timber door and window retailer ERW has fitted a Masterdor door-set to the home of Marie Wall.
Both properties were built with six en-suite bedrooms and a 500 sq ft games room, but were each individual in style, with contrasting coloured brick and unique intricate detailing on the facade.
Following a recommendation by Castleford Homes, made to measure, engineered timber Masterdor door-sets were chosen to fit the wide door openings of the property, complementing the individuality of the entrance and the grandeur of the rest of the property.
Managing director of Kamac, Ken Ayling, said: "We always expect high standards from our suppliers and Manse Masterdor ltd was no exception".
"We wanted a traditional-looking timber door, but without the usual problems associated with traditionally manufactured timber doors".
"Masterdor produced a Security Plus frame which had timber capping which makes it look like a traditional hardwood frame".
As Masterdors are made to measure they can be tailored to complement any building type, from a stable door in a country cottage to an extra wide panelled door for a Georgian town house.
And because Masterdors are made using engineered timber rather than traditionally sawn timber, they protect against weather conditions and are low maintenance.
Manse Masterdor ltd provides the largest range of Secured by Design and Sold Secure certified door-sets on the market.
Masterdors exceeded PAS23/24 BSi tests, meet the requirements of Part M of the building regulations, and fire-check versions have also been successfully tested to BS476 Part 22.
