Offering a very effective volume drainage solution and receiving only occasional vehicle overrun the product was the ideal answer for this type of application.
Combining a galvanised T-slot section, which sits dry on to a Marshalls Landscape Drain channel the Mono system, has been especially developed for use within a paved area where unobtrusive drainage is required.
The single 10mm wide slot ensures water drains away quickly and efficiently from the surface but negates any potential trip hazard issues for pedestrians.
The slot also has very limited blockage issues as the head is flared outward as it falls down into the chamber.
The system can be used in all loading application up to and including C250 without any further clarification and as with all Marshalls' linear drainage solutions Mono Slot Drain is a complete system with a range of channels and outfalls.
For the Royal Plaza Marshalls Drainage Design Service used inbuilt fall channels to enhance the natural ground slope of the site.
This was essential in order to convey surface water over a relatively long distance to the only available sewer connection situated in one corner of the site.
Marshalls also supplied especially mitre-cut units to form the corners of the quadrilateral.
The hard landscaping material was supplied by Marshalls Natural Stone consisting of granite paving and cobbles, plus tactile paving.
Marshalls plc is the UK's no.1 hard landscaping transformation company with combined expertise in paving, walling, drainage, kerb traffic management and street furniture.
