Mace has secured the Macquarie Bank Construction Management expansion and refurbishment programme at the bank's offices in CityPoint, London.

Mace has secured the Macquarie Bank Construction Management expansion and refurbishment programme at the bank's offices in CityPoint, London.

The building is familiar territory to Mace, which Construction Managed the fit out of law firm, Simmons and Simmons offices at CityPoint in 2000.

Mace Director, Gareth Lewis, explains: "We're delighted to be putting our expertise into CityPoint again".

"This contract win means that we will have Construction Managed the redevelopment of over 80 per cent of this prestigious office block.

Having completed the fit out of the first 17 floors, Mace will now undertake the fit out of a further six floors, including dealer floors, general offices, kitchens and executive suites, all to a demanding fast track programme.

To add to the challenge, Mace will also manage the relocation of staff currently working on three of these floors.

Mr Lewis continues: "The Macquarie Bank appointment continues to demonstrate the attraction of Construction Management as a procurement method for investment clients and fast track high quality projects".

"We are building a strong relationship with Macquarie, which is a major Australian bank with big European expansion plans.
