New from Mendip Micro Systems: a simple, low cost, alarm unit specifically designed for monitoring the temperature and power supply in computer rooms where the cost of a full remote alarm system is not justified The unit is micro computer controlled and can have up to 4 separate temperature sensors

When a temperature outside the preset range is detected the unit sends an SMS message to up to three numbers.

Installation and set up is simplicity itself and only takes a couple of minutes, with no specialist skills required.

Features include: LCD Display of system status, 8 hour battery backup, minimum and maximum temperature logging, alarm delays to avoid false alarms, very low running cost and built in mains fail detector.

The unit is housed in a rugged IP65 enclosure and is ideal for monitoring all types of computer or plant rooms where someone needs to be alerted if a high or low temperature could cause a problem.
