Due to unprecedented demand for Megger's free 'Technical Update Evening' in Hove, Megger is replicating the event in Basingstoke.

Due to the unprecedented demand for Megger's free 'Technical Update Evening' in Hove, Megger is replicating the event on 12 April in Basingstoke.

The evening is aimed at helping local electricians understand the range of test certificates required for domestic electrical installations.

Electricians are often confused by new regulations and how they are affected.

So, to help unravel the mysteries surrounding the 16th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations, Megger, in collaboration with local electrical stockist Newey and Eyre, have organised an evening seminar.

The evening will be presided over by Tony Cable, of the NICEIC, and will explain the range of certificates required and offer practical advice on completing the Schedule of items inspected.

Peter Halloway of Megger will also be on hand to discuss the benefits of easy to use software that enables on-site completion of test certificates.

Peter will also examine the latest range of contractor testers, including insulation, continuity, loop and RCD testers, as well as the latest in multifunction testers.

Between them, these instruments cover all day-to-day contractor needs, as well as addressing the requirements by the current 16th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations.

The event, which is open to all local electricians, takes place at 5.30pm on Thursday 12 April at Premier Travel Inn Basingstoke South, North Waltham, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG25 2BB in Basingstoke.
