Merlo's brand new 20-model 7m and 10m range for 2005 includes four new PANORAMIC machines that were previewed at SED 2005 The 2005 range replaces all the previous 7m and 9m construction and farm machines, and features all-turbocharged DEUTZ engines for the first time, rated at 102HP (and up to 140HP with the engine aftercooled for some farm models)

Both fixed and sideshift/levelling axle models are available, the latter with Merlo's unique integral sideshifter.

And, there are both 7m and a new 9.7m three-stage boom design.

There's also an improved ventilation system and one of Merlo's most popular features is definitely retained - the all-round protection of the Ring of Steel.

The 6m P26.6 SP and LP PANORAMIC machines (the latter with only 2m overall height) remain unchanged as the Compact construction models.

Sharing the same basic cab design of the new machines are the revised 10 tonne capacity P101.10HM and the MCSS ROTO range machines, were also on display, along with representative models from the high-lift Merlo construction range.
