New Madrid Office For Lift Safety

Memco, a world leader in lift safety, has established a new logistics centre in Spain, a country with more lift factories than any other in Europe.
Currently there are 620,000 lifts installed in Spain, and installation continues at a rate of 30,000 per year Such growth of business in the lift industry encouraged the development of Memco's new office in Madrid

Headed by Branch Manager Manuel Moraga, the new office, in Las Rozas in the north west of Madrid, is ideally placed for quick delivery of stock to Spanish and Portuguese customers.
Manuel, who has a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Madrid, and a MBA from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, previously worked for Channell, a US manufacturer of telecommunications equipment, and has earlier experience with telecommunications and IT companies.
Emma Sanz, who previously worked for Nortel Networks, will also be on hand to assist customers.
Memco has more than thirty years of experience in the design, manufacture and distribution of infrared safety edges for elevator doors.
The new premises in Madrid will enable the immediate provision of products and quick responses to enquiries.
New products from Memco include the EuroVox 10, a quick and easy to install lift emergency telephone system, and Chromaline, red/green coloured edges for lift doors that provide a reassuring visual indication of when the doors are opening, or about to close.
