The Metabo carbide bits provide rapid, efficient cutting, reduced vibration, extended bit and tool life, and extreme ease of use.

Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools, abrasives and tooling for industrial, construction and welding applications, has introduced a new brochure on its new comprehensive line of carbide-tipped masonry drill bits for rotary hammer and hammer drills.

The Metabo carbide bits provide rapid, efficient cutting, reduced vibration, extended bit and tool life, and extreme ease of use.

The new, rugged bits are also designed to work aggressively on rebar and a variety of concrete stone applications.

The brochure describes Metabo's SDS-Plus Shank series of bit tips, including the Pro 4 Design, which uses a self-centering, chisel-shaped bit tip for rapid material penetration.

A multi-fluted spiral shaft efficiently removes concrete dust from the hole for faster drilling and longer bit life.

The bit's reinforced flute geometry reduces vibration and transfers more impact to the tip to enhance life expectancy and drill speed.

The Pro 4 bits are available in diameters from 5/32" to 5/8".

The SDS-Plus Standard 2-Cutter design, available in bit diameters from 3/4" to 1", offers aggressive penetration via a chisel-shaped bit head that penetrates material rapidly.

Its narrow lands reduce friction and vibration for smoother operation, and the double flutes remove debris quickly.

The SDS-Plus 4-Cutter design has four carbide cutting surfaces at the tip for precise drilling with the least amount of vibration and strain transferred to the tool and the operator.

Its large flute entrances and reinforced shank design ensure fast drilling and long tool life.

Bit diameters are from 1-1/8" to 1-1/4".

The SDS Max Shank 4-Cutter bits, which feature a unique head design that reduces friction in the hole to increase drilling speed and maximize bit life, are also detailed in the new brochure.

The brochure also includes Spline Shank 4-Cutter bits, available with diameters from 5/8" to 1-1/2", and Straight Shank 2-Cutter bits with diameters from 1/8" to 1".

All bits described in the brochure feature a centering point; aggressive cutting edges; a patented 4-flute design with a thicker cross section that provides faster, easier drilling with less strain on the operator and the tool; and high alloy steel construction.

The new brochure includes specification tables with full dimensions and package types, as well as cutaway drawings and photos of the bits.
