Metabo 1/2" Hammer Drill Provides High Performance
Metabo Corporation has introduced a new 1/2" hammer drill that can be used for drilling into nearly all materials, from concrete and brick to wood, steel and plastic.
A rugged die cast aluminum gear housing also ensures optimal cooling for longer tool life.
The BSP12 Plus offers an impulse action that facilitates easier driving and removal of even extremely tight screws, or those with damaged heads.
Metabo's patented 'Impulse' technology enables the bit to find a point of resistance during an interval between impulses; once this point is located, the screw can be easily driven in or removed.
Additionally, the Impuls action helps prevent a drill bit from 'walking', eliminating the need to center punch, even when drilling steel or tile.
The BSP12 Plus1 ergonomic auxiliary side handle provides for a secure grip and greater control, especially in applications employing high torque.
A quick-release keyless chuck and spindle stop system in the new drill/driver allows effortless one-handed bit and accessory changes.
Also, users can easily engage the forward/reverse feature of the new drill with only one hand, since the switch is conveniently located above the trigger.
The tool weighs only 5.5 lbs.
and has a two-Ah battery capacity.
The BSP12 Plus also features a variable speed switch and reversing for maximum versatility.
No load speed is 0-400/0-1400 rpm and chuck capacity is 1/2'.
Maximum torque is 178 inch-lbs.
in soft case applications; 194 inch-lbs in Impuls mode; and 484 inch-lbs.
in hard case applications.
The drill/driver boasts a capacity of 1/2 in steel and 1-1/3 in wood and features twenty adjustable torque settings.
