Drill Provides Extremely High Torque Fast Drilling
The new BE1020 drill is ideal for joiners, fitters, HVAC installers, carpenters and other users who require a universal tool for drilling large and small holes in almost any type of wood or metal.
A gooseneck steel depth gauge provides increased drilling depth accuracy when setting anchors.
The BHE-D24 incorporates Variospeed full-wave electronic speed control for variable speed control, a reverse feature for efficient drilling, and a die cast aluminum gearbox that allows for rapid heat dissipation and increased tool life.
As with all Metabo rotary hammers, the new BHE-D24 has a winding protection grid that deflects airborne debris away from armature windings, and increases motor life by up to five times in dusty environments.
The new BHE-D24 was designed to be user-friendly.
The new rotary hammer features a large knob so the operator can easily change from percussion with rotation drilling to rotation only, even when wearing protective gloves.
The 360deg adjustable side handle is rubber coated to maximize user comfort and control during operation.
Metabo's exclusive S-automatic safety clutch helps to protect both the operator and the new rotary hammer in the event of a bit jam.
With a 5.6 A motor, the drilling capacity of the new BHE-D24 is up to 1" in concrete, 1-9/16" in wood, and 1/2" in steel.
The force of blows is 0-2.2 joules at 0-4,600 blows per minute, and no-load RPM is 1-1,000.
