The new BE1020 drill is ideal for joiners, fitters, HVAC installers, carpenters and other users who require a universal tool for drilling large and small holes in almost any type of wood or metal.
The saw offers miter angle cuts from zero to 47deg, with time-saving precision stops at 15deg, 22.5deg, 30deg and 45deg and will cut a bevel from zero to 45deg and is ideal for mitering wood for trim carpentry.
The KGS 255's 9 amp motor drives the 8-1/2" blade, with standard 5/8" arbor, at a no-load speed of 4800 rpm.
The cutting capacity is 2-5/8" deep across a 10" width at 90deg, and 1-1/2" deep across a 6-7/8" width with a 45deg bevel.
The slide mechanism uses ball bearings to provide smooth operation.
Black numbers against a silver background provide an easy-to-read scale.
The sliding saw offers a unique through-the-base dust collection system unlike the typical hooded approach, and is compatible with 1-5/8" and 2-1/4" vacuum hoses as well as with 4" dust collection systems.
The saw's slide rails are protected from damage by a unique aluminum cover.
Other unique features include an integrated saw blade lock and tool that makes blade changes simple and quick, as well as a cord clip that keeps the power cord away from the work area.
A lockout feature is incorporated into the power switch.
The saw is furnished with a 40-tooth carbide blade.
A folding table, left-side 5-foot extension with fence and stops and right-side 5-foot extension with fence and stops are also available.
