The Original Slicer is .040" thick and is ideal for general purpose cutting of ferrous materials such as tubing, piping, rebar, and smaller diameter rods".
The Slicer-Plus is a .045" thick cutting wheel.
Its coated grain and proprietary bond system make it capable of performing thicker sectional cuts, and cutting large diameter rods, and stainless steels.
All of the job-matched Slicer Wheels in the Choice Cuts family are available in 4.5" x 7/8" and 6" x 7/8" diameters.
The Original Slicer and Slicer Plus are offered in Type 1 and Type 27 versions, while the Super Slicer is available as a Type 1 cutting wheel.
