Designing safe, reliable and low-maintenance self closing gates is a challenge that has been met with the introduction of the latest Mono Hinge Self-Closing Gate from Medway Galvanising.

Opening to 110 degrees to prevent recoil, the wheelchair accessible Mono Hinge has no finger traps, crush points, shear actions or head traps and incorporates easily adjustable closing speeds and torsion settings A highly durable, fully enclosed closing mechanism tested to over 500,000 cycles, vandal-resistant fixings and 19mm diameter bars add to its resilience, helping to ensure it functions smoothly year after year

In addition, the Mono Hinge fully complies with BSEN-1176 for play equipment and all current DDA recommendations.

Fully galvanised as standard to deliver proven long-life corrosion protection for up to 60 years, the gates can be powder coated in a range of colours, with the quality of the coatings backed with long-term guarantees.

Designed to open to the left or right, single or double, the Mono Hinge is assembled and supplied as a complete unit, enabling fast and easy installation to the correct specifications without costly site works.
