Concrete expansion for Milbury Systems
Concrete specialist, Milbury Systems has started construction work on a new 360 square metre production building.
Concrete specialist, Milbury Systems, has started construction work on a new 360 square metre production building at its 5.75 acre manufacturing facility in Lydney, Gloucestershire The new building will house a new beam mould for the production of prestressed concrete beams and also the moulds for Milbury's unique precast retaining system, Karapace which was launched this year

Milbury completes first Karapace contract
Concrete specialist, Milbury Systems, has completed the first contract for Karapace, a unique precast concrete retaining system.
Milbury will produce the columns for the construction of the building on site.
Headquartered in Tickenham, near Bristol, Milbury established its own concrete production facility in January 2003.
Today it employs over 30 people at the Lydney plant, producing around 10,000 concrete units per year which are used in construction projects throughout the country.
"Our manufacturing works allows us to supply the majority of our own precast concrete requirements so that we can offer our clients a more competitive and flexible full service from design right through to installation." said Simon Pearson, works director at Milbury Systems.
"We are expanding our production in order to answer an increase in demand and to support production of our recently launched Karapce retaining system which has created a great deal of interest since its introduction earlier this year.".
