Concrete specialist, Milbury Systems, has recently secured a wide variety of contracts.

Concrete specialist, Milbury Systems, has recently secured a wide variety of contracts The company clinched a £190,000 deal with HBG UK to supply sheer walls and retaining walls for Sainsbury's mixed use development at Milton Keynes

Milbury has commenced work on a 24 acre purpose built site at Longton in Stoke on Trent where IAE, a leading manufacturer of agricultural equestrian equipment and steel railings, is currently resiting its four manufacturing depots.

In a contract with IAE worth £152,000 Milbury is installing vertical cantilevers, retaining walls and Milwalls, forming a car park and storage yard areas at the new manufacturing facility works.

The company will design and install a concrete retaining wall for Birse Construction at Dagenham Docks in a contract worth £60,000 and will replace concrete cladding panels and install push walls at a waster transfer station in Wigan for Waste Recycling Group in a deal worth £85,000.

Work starts on site this month on office units at Arlington Business Park in Theale where Milbury is installing 160mm thick horizontal cladding panels to be suspended on a post tensioned floor slab in a £136,500 contract for Carillion Milbury has just completed an initial £140,000 contract for Dean and Dyball in the first of a three phase project to construct three blocks of industrial units on behalf of R O Developments at South Marston in Swindon.

Milbury's concrete king posts, vertical cantilevers, L wall units, horizontals and cladding panels all feature in the construction of the units.

In a £27,000 contract for Bourne Parking at Cobalt Business Park in Newcastle, Milbury recently designed and installed sixteen concrete panels to retain earth to one side of a car park.

Milbury has worked previously at Cobalt Business Park installing attenuation tanks during the early stages of development.

And Milbury's unique precast concrete retaining structure Karapace is featured in a £126,000 contract with Prinz at Sharneyford Works in West Yorkshire, to form a 3.6m high wall.

All of Milbury's concrete products are manufactured at its own production facility, sited in Lydney, Gloucestershire.
