Concrete specialist, Milbury Systems, secures 3 contracts to design, manufacture and install concrete retaining walls forming basements.
Concrete specialist, Milbury Systems, has recently secured three contracts to design, manufacture and install concrete retaining walls forming basements in buildings at Wednesbury, Hoddesdon and Durham In a contract worth GBP414,000 Milbury will install 1600 sq metres of prestressed concrete to form the retaining walls of a basement car park for Carillion at a new Morrison Supermarket in Loxdale, Wednesbury, West Midlands

Milbury will manufacture 320sq metres of concrete panels in a contract valued at GBP85,000.
The new Institute for Hazard and Risk Research is one of the University's "175 Campaign Projects" and will be a world-leading centre of interdisciplinary research and scholarship.
A large part of the new structure will be below ground level and will have a green roof.
All of the concrete units for the contracts will be manufactured by Milbury at its precast concrete production facility in Lydney, Gloucestershire.
"Our manufacturing works allows us to supply the majority of our own precast concrete requirements so that we can offer our clients a more competitive and flexible full service from design right through to installation." said Simon Pearson, works director at Milbury Systems.
"We are undertaking an increasing number of contracts to install basements and underground car parking facilities as more companies look at space efficiency and making the best use of available land".
"We see this as a key growth area for the construction business as a whole.".
