Prestessed concrete shafts and beams
Milbury Systems to supply prestessed concrete shafts and beams at three flood alleviation sites as part of Severn Trent Water's Asset Management Programme (AMP4).
In a GBP94,222 deal with principle contractor, G.F.Tomlinson and Sons , Milbury was selected to provide concrete shaft covers and combined sewer outlets for installation at Severn Water's sites in Diglis, Worcester, and at Bayston Road and Yardley Wood in Birmingham Milbury has been involved in an increasing number of projects in the water industry and has successfully developed a proprietary baffle wall system which improves water flow through aeration tanks
The company has its own precast concrete production facility in Lydney, Gloucestershire which enables it to supply the majority of its own precast concrete requirements.
