Gary Morton, Chairman of GM Fundraising, explains why donations are so important: "Most hospices providing palliative care receive very little funding from the health service".

"So it's important to keep fundraising on their behalf to ensure that the best care is given when it's most needed".

"Mighton Products has generously donated a week's holiday at an exclusive Villa in Tobago as the star prize for the auction being held at the Gala Dinner".

"It's a five star residence and past guests have included pop stars and celebrities".

"So I'm confident, that with such a great prize, we will generate a lot of interest and raise a lot of money".

The Gala Dinner takes place on the 17th June at The Palace Hotel, Manchester.
