Mighton Ecotilt launched at the WinDoor Expo

A Mighton Products product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Nov 27, 2007

The timber sash window system was launched jointly by sash specialist Mighton and architectural hardware company Ferco.

There were smiles all round at the November launch of Mighton's Ecotilt at the WinDoor Expo in Toronto, Canada.

David Warr, Vice President of USA Business Development for Mighton comments: "We're excited by the positive response from Canadian manufacturers and look forward to building awareness of our highly thermal efficient product".

"We've had several requests for pre-production samples already and have ambitious growth targets for 2008".

Yvon Soucy, Vice President of Ferco, is also positive: "It's an exciting time as we help Mighton's product development across the Canadian market and the company continues to grow nationwide".

Ecotilt is one of the most energy efficient and secure timber vertical sliders available in the UK and Canadian markets.

With a timber exterior and a PVC-U jamb liner, Ecotilt comes in an easy-to-assemble system form.

It doesn't need any specialist skills to put it together - just a few 'clicks.' "Making traditional timber vertical sliders can be a nightmare," Mike Derham, Managing Director of Mighton, explains.

"They're fiddly and hard to get right, with a different specification for each one".

"Because Ecotilt is so easy to put together - with minimal routing and joinery - it cuts down the long lead and installation times that eat into profit margins.".
