Mighton customer wins 200 sash contract

A Mighton Products product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Sep 3, 2008

JMS Joinery renovated two large office blocks near Oxford Street, Central London with Raphael Contracting, replacing and renovating around 200 timber sash windows using Mighton hardware.

John Gould, Manager at JMS Joinery, comments: "For this GBP670,000 project we used Mighton's steel weights, brass lifters, fitch fasteners, brush seals and parting beads.

Initially the architect specified a different timber sash window hardware company.

We knew Mighton Products were of a much higher quality and durability without adding expense so we showed them samples to compare.

Once they saw the samples they quickly changed their minds and used Mighton's sash hardware throughout the project.

"As well as the traditional, quality products, the next day delivery is second to none.

The excellent lead times mean we can pass the efficient service on to our customers.

For this project, for example, the products were delivered straight to site so we could save time and money, and were able to give a better service to our customers.".
