Leading housebuilder Midas Homes has appointed Bill Danks as its new Building Manager.

Leading housebuilder Midas Homes has appointed Bill Danks as its new Building Manager.

Bill joins three other Building Managers in the production team, where his main duties will include managing the production on sites and overseeing the four site managers who report to him.

Bill will ensure each development that he is responsible for is delivered on time and on budget, while maintaining Midas Homes' award winning standards.

With over 31 years' experience in the construction industry, Bill comes to Midas Homes from Wain Homes, where he spent eight years working as a Contracts Manager.

Bill has also worked for Barratts, Costain Homes, Canberra Homes, and he ran his own building company for four years.

Bill will be based at Midas Homes' head office in Newton Abbot and will report to the company's Production Director, Tim Douglass.

He will have responsibility for Midas Homes' West Lea development in South Molton, Alpha in Bodmin, plus Didworthy Park in South Brent and Bishops Meadow in Bishopsteignton for Midas Homes' sister company Gerald Wood Homes.

Speaking of his new role Bill commented: "I am thrilled to be working for Midas Homes and its sister company Gerald Wood Homes and I look forward to continue building their strong reputation along with the rest of the team".

Bill relocated from Birmingham 20 years ago and lives in Torquay with his wife; he has two children.

Midas Homes and Gerald Wood Homes are part of the Galliford Try Group.
