Mitsubishi FR-F700 range is cool choice

A Mitsubishi Electric Automation Systems product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Apr 25, 2006

Mitsubishi FR-F700 range is cool choice with systems integrator UTU Power Electronics.

WITH SYSTEMS INTEGRATOR IN FINLAND Finland's longest established electrical contracting company, UTU Power Electronics, selects the FR-F 700 series of power-saving inverter drives as its drive of choice for a wide range of applications from heating and ventilating and pumping applications, through to complex OEM applications in the timber and stone cutting industries.

"We take on a wide range of different applications, from delivery of the drives as custom-ready units, pre-programmed for 'plug-and-play' operation, as well as the complete design, build and commissioning of control systems for high-accuracy, high-production machinery," says UTU's Jyrki Viiakoski.

"Whilst we use many Mitsubishi drives, there's no doubt that the FR-F700 series is becoming the favourite choice because of its flexibility in many situations".

UTU was established back in 1919 by electrician Urho Tuominen and, since 1945, the company has manufactured switchboards for industrial automation and power distribution.

Now, with three bases in Finland at Ulvila, Kerava and Pori, the company has expanded into Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

UTU is very much a 'one-stop-shop' for the electrical contracting industry, supplying Mitsubishi PLCs and drives and UPS systems, as well as enclosures, trunking, busbars and a huge range of in-stock components for fast delivery.

"Our special relationship with Mitsubishi is based on our success in selling and supporting their products over many years," concludes Jyrki Viitakoski.

"Our customers particularly like the latest generation of drives - and so do we!".
