Mitsubishi Electric new product
catalogue
Mitsubishi Electric has just released its new product catalogue.
Mitsubishi Electric now offers even more choice and has redesigned the catalogue to make navigation easy, colour-coding and referencing the various sections so that products can be quickly placed whatever customers are looking for amongst the M Series, Mr Slim, City Multi, Lossnay or Controls ranges Also new for this year is the addition of the Price List to make cross-referencing even easier, and with clear guidance on everything from the smallest 2.2kW M Series unit to the powerful 73kW City Multi systems, the catalogue allows easy access to the comprehensive range of environmental control systems

New for 2007 is news that the entire R410A M Series and Mr Slim range are now available as an inverter option to offer customers the combination of improved performance and greater energy efficiency.
Inverter-driven units save energy because the compressor varies its speed to match the heating or cooling load of the room.
By operating at partial load for the majority of the time, the unit is streets ahead of a fixed speed unit which can only operate at 100% capacity and cannot, therefore, match the annual efficiencies of an inverter system.

New to the M Series line-up are the AA-rated, MXZ-2A52VA and MXZ-5A100VA multi-split outdoor units which are ideal for apartments and small commercial buildings.
Based on the Mr Slim Power Inverter technology, the units can connect to up to eight indoor units across the M Series and Mr Slim ranges and have a total pipe run of 115m.
Also new for the M-Series range is the 'Classic Inverter' line-up which offers better energy efficiency than fixed speed at a highly competitive price.
The best selling Mr Slim line-up has been updated with new features, as well as the already impressive efficiency levels being improved.
New indoor units include the floor-standing PSA-RP models available in either 7.1 and 12.5 kW sizes, which should prove popular for both bars and restaurants.

The City Multi YGM-A range offers a highly efficient R410A scroll compressor design resulting in less friction at the motor.
Other improvements, including a simplified refrigerant circuit (for low pressure loss) and a new accumulator design also add to the overall efficiency.
Whatever the application, whether it is traditional cooling-only, or the more sophisticated simultaneous heating and cooling, linked to a ground source heat pump, Mitsubishi Electric has the solution.
In an expanded section, the new catalogue also details the advanced, energy saving potential of the Lossnay range of total heat exchangers, which can work alone or in conjunction with an air conditioning system to recover heat from extracted air and reduce energy consumption.
Research has shown that in London in 2006, free cooling could have been provided by Lossnay units for over 56% of the time.
The final section covers what has come to be one of the most important aspects of any environmental system - the controls - and details the wide range of advanced control systems that is available, from simple, room remote controllers through to advanced Internet-control units that allow for remote monitoring and control and BEMS compatible systems.
