New Arora International fits Miwa Locks
Miwa locks have just been fitted to over 358 bedrooms and most back of house locations making a total of almost 400 locks fitted throughout the new Arora Park hotel at Heathrow.
Due to the nature of their job, airline crews are among the most frequent users of hotels the world over and many carriers have standing reservation arrangements with hotels to use a group of rooms on a regular basis So what if instead of having to reserve rooms with one of the popular chains, the carrier had its own hotel exclusively for the use of its own crews and staff with everything tailored exactly to their needs? The building of the new Arora Park Heathrow is just such a hotel, designed exclusively for use by British Airways

Paul, said: "With over 300 rooms this new 4 star deluxe hotel is now the flagship of our group.
When a BA staff member checks in at reception they are issued with a swipe card that not only serves as a room key, but it is also used to access the lifts and control the light and heating system in the rooms.
It will also give access to the gymnasium and provide entry to a dedicated ATM room containing a hole-in-the-wall cash machine.
"Important aspects in our selection of Miwa for the electronic locking system" continues Andrew Paul "were product, quality, reliability, knowledge and price.
The system we wanted had to be easy to set up and use and installers NT Security were one of the best contractors we spoke with from a professional, training and contract worker point of view.
"Teething troubles with the new locks were extremely minor, no more than you would encounter with any electronic system, and the installation has been an excellent shop window for the Miwa product.
Our contract includes a maintenance package with the company and the after sales support from both NT Security and Miwa has been superb! For example, when a minor fault developed in some of the lift access card readers one night shortly after we opened, an NT Security representative who lives locally even left a dinner party to render assistance at the hotel." Andy Purvis, General Manager of Miwa Lock (UK), concludes: "We are obviously very proud that Miwa products have been chosen for such a prestigious build as the Arora International Heathrow.".
