Key appointment drives Martindales development

Martindales, the UK's leading supplier of repairs and replacements doors and windows to the insurance industry, has made a key senior appointment.

Experienced insurance industry professional Scott Robinson, 39, has been appointed to head up the company's Sales, Marketing and Account Management function and will be based at its Bolton headquarters.

Scott will be responsible for helping grow the existing business, capturing new accounts with key insurers and developing the Martindales brand.

"This is a fabulous company that has yet to be discovered by some key corporate customers - but when we do get on their radar I'm certain they will be delighted at their discovery," said Scott.

"The attention to detail, dedication to customer service and sheer ability to deliver through robust and innovative systems was mightily impressive when I started to research the company".

"Couple this with the fact that staff are directly employed and vetted and all processes controlled in-house, and we have an extremely strong proposition for insurance companies".

Scott joins after 23 years in the insurance and financial services sector.

He has held senior business development and marketing roles and was most recently Insurance Controller at a north west based financial institution.

Born and bred in Kendal, and married with two children, Scott shares a keen interest in motorsport with Martindales founder and Managing Director Phil Martindale.

Scott is a past-president of the Insurance Institute of Kendal and a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management.

We are developing more and more strong relationships with insurers, and plan to extend our relationships with both current and new clients".

Scott's extensive industry knowledge and sales and marketing background are going to be fundamental to the development of the business moving forward.

Martindales was formed in 1986 by Phil Martindale.

The company provides repairs and replacement windows, frames, doors and glass involved in claims to the UK's leading insurance companies, as well as insulated glass and frames to the building trade.

Martindales Head Office is based in Bolton and provides full nationwide coverage across Britain.
