Metsec steel structures for seafront
development
Metsec Framing Division has provided a range of Metsec Metframe structures for an GBP80 million seafront development in Wales.
The Swansea Point residential development, comprising of 14 separate buildings, is the largest project ever undertaken by Metsec Due for completion at the end of 2007, this contemporary development will provide a range of town houses and apartments and significantly improve this part of Swansea marina

In a project of this scale it is essential that we can guarantee a fast and accurate build to avoid holding up follow on trades.
The high quality of Metsec's drawings and details undoubtedly facilitate the construction and overall success of the projects".
As well as the fast track build, Metframe was specified for Swansea Point because it allows the use of concrete floors in the main buildings and it can incorporate a cold rolled joisted mezzanine floor solution for a number of top floor apartments.
Metframe can also provide support or restraint for a wide range of cladding systems, offering architects great flexibility in their choice of external finish.
At Swansea Point they are using insulated render.
