Stacking.
This versatile system can be folded back to one or to both sides, stacking internally or externally, giving unobstructed view of approximately 90% of the opening (unlike conventional patio doors offering under 50%).

Where required, we can offer purposely designed manifestation to the glass.
Tempered - Resistance to thermal stress and impact resistance.

General Information.
There are so many situations that a Calisto Glass can be a solution to improving your living space and the environment around you.

The Calisto Timber Range can be top hung, suspended from the structure above, or bottom rolling, where there is insufficient strength in the above structure.
With both systems, the weather bar at floor level can be removed leaving a virtually flush floor finish, ideal for entrances to sun rooms and conservatories.
With both options, the running gear run effortlessly and without the need of continual maintenance.

There are many upvc and joinery companies that believe that they can simply manufacture some rectangle panels, fit some hardware on them that they purchase from their hardware supplier and call themselves folding sliding door specialist.

PAS23/PAS24.
Securityis one of our main concerns when it come to the Calisto door design.
Only locks that are designed and manufactured as specialised door security products that are recognised by the police ACPO and Secure by Design are used in our system.
All our locking has hardened steel hook locks, dead bolts and top and bottom shoot bolts.
All our locks are tested secure and have a "Sold Secure" rating, as our manufacturer is a Sold Secure approved installer.
At present, our UK based manufacturer is the only company in the UK to submit its system to a UKAS accredited testing station for PAS 24 security endurance testing and passed with flying colours.
During the tests the doors were hammered, rammed, pounded, pulled, pushed, lifted and crow bared by forces that equalled a 20 stone man trying to force entry.
Maintenance.
The Calisto Timber uses stainless steel wheels with sealed bearings for maintenance free use.
They operate quietly, smoothly and do not wear the track.
Generally, only light cleaning of the tracks is required.
