MovemanSKG has supplied the Odney Club with an ISO-D service lift, which transports food from the kitchen to the dining area.

The Odney Club, located in the picturesque village of Cookham in Berkshire, is a luxurious manor house and one of four attractive retreats belonging to the John Lewis Partnership It offers a wide range of activities, including boating on the river Thames, tennis, swimming and golf

The Odney Club is available exclusively to John Lewis Partnership employees and their families, who enjoy discounted day trips and holidays.

John Nixey, the Odney Club's Maintenance Operations Manager, is positive; "We run a busy restaurant and movemanSKG's service lift allows us to deliver food to our customers swiftly and efficiently".

"Unlike the lift it replaces, the ISO-D is electrically driven, rather than hydraulic".

"This removes the need for a motor room, freeing up space that we now use for storage".

"It also eliminates messy oil leaks and makes for easy maintenance." The Odney Club kitchen moves food between levels using trolleys, which are too big for a standard sized dumb waiter to carry.

The ISO-D is ideal for larger, heavier items and its floor level position means staff can conveniently wheel trolleys into the lift for transportation.

The ISO-D lifts loads of up to 300kg and is suitable for tough industrial applications.

Its galvanised steel structure and lift car are extremely strong and resist rusting.

The ISO-D is user friendly, featuring fully automatic push buttons, arrival buzzer and call signal, and position indicators on each landing station.
