Swift access solution from movemanSKG

A movemanSKG product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team May 1, 2008

The new Prima Plus from movemanSKG is a compact, electro-hydraulic platform lift that takes just hours to install, minimising disruption to work areas.

It is self-contained and requires no pit, wall or supporting structure.

This means users can relocate Prima Plus to an alternative site and change wheelchair access routes if required.

An indoor or outdoor lift constructed predominantly out of aluminium, Prima Plus is light, yet strong and durable.

It has a special protective coating, which resists weathering and guarantees the lift against corrosion for five years.

Prima Plus lifts 300kg up to 1000mm and is available in a multitude of colours and finishes, enabling its seamless integration into any environment.

This makes it ideal for public venues, where aesthetics are essential.

movemanSKG's Sales Manager, Boyd Porter, is delighted; "Prima Plus is versatile and cost effective".

"It has numerous safety features, including a collapsible bellows that encloses the mechanism when the lift raises, landing and platform gates along with manual emergency lowering".

"This means it is suitable for use around children, such as in playgroups, schools and colleges".

"Prima Plus is an excellent addition to movemanSKG's platform lift range".

Prima Plus features lights that increase its visibility and guide partially sighted wheelchair users onto the platform.

Ergonomically positioned, tactile, illuminated controls make the lift user-friendly and allow people with sensory impairments to operate it independently.

There are a variety of options, such as glazed exterior panelling, platform gates and platform level indication.

Boyd continued; "Prima Plus has a small footprint, allowing it to fit in tight spaces".

"It complies with all building regulations and comes with two inclusive service visits in the first year of ownership".

"Prima Plus will be popular with customers looking for a cost effective low-rise access solution".
