Mouchel wins first ICT BSF contract in Nailsea

Mouchel win a GBP2.1 million capital contract plus the cost of providing a five-year fully managed service as part of Building Schools for the Future's One School Pathfinder programme.

North Somerset Council has awarded preferred bidder status to consulting and business services group, Mouchel.

Mouchel will provide IT hardware, software, infrastructure as well as a five-year managed service for the brand new GBP30 million Nailsea Community School in Nailsea, North Somerset.

The contract will be delivered by Mouchel's Education ICT team based in the company's Middlesbrough Centre of Excellence.

The ICT provision will broadly follow the ICT requirements of the wider BSF programme.

It is envisaged that the ICT will comprise the following elements: a LAN/WAN technical infrastructure; a managed learning environment; a five-year operational managed serviced covering the MLE, LAN/WAN and ICT infrastructure; a CPD and training programme; as well as the supply of computer hardware and devices.
