Prater specialist high sustainability solutions

Prater have secured significant commercial, infrastructure, education and leisure projects, totalling more than GBP17m in the past eight months.

Prater has been appointed to work on a GBP3 million contract for the Vestas wind turbine blade factory on the Isle of Wight, which includes Kalzip roofing, composite and polycarbonate cladding and structural waterproofing.

Prater will also be installing structural waterproofing and composite cladding on The Quadrant, Piccadilly.

The project will consist of a mixture of offices and retail space and is the first building to undergo full refurbishment and re- construction with retained facades in this landmark area.

The company will also be working on airport construction projects at Heathrow and Gatwick, which is part of Prater's long term involvement on each site, and includes over GBP3 million of roofing and cladding works.

Prater is also contracted to provide GBP3 million worth of roofing and cladding on schools and colleges in Manchester and London, including Kalzip, green, hot melt and membrane roofing, rainscreen and composite wall cladding.
