Market leading Marley Waterproofing has launched a new range of torch-on roofing membranes to complement its existing offer.

TGX Torch-On membranes can be used on both flat roofs and sloping roofs and are ideal for new roofs and the repair of existing felt and asphalt roofs This price fighting product provides high quality roofing membranes to contractors working on a budget

TGX Torch-On products are made from polyester and glass reinforcements, providing excellent dimensional stability.

The cap sheet consists of a polyester carrier which is coated with polymer modified bitumen, the upper surface is finished with mineral granules and the lower surface has a sacrificial film which rapidly melts during the torch on process.

The underlay consists of a glass tissue carrier, coated with polymer bitumen and topped with fine sand and also has a sacrificial film.

The polymer modified bitumen provides good high temperature performance and resistance to damage and marking during application.

Products in the TGX Torch-On range are delivered with a 10 year materials guarantee for confidence and peace of mind.

TGX Torch-On roofing membranes can be applied to most recommended roof decks and are intended as component parts of a torch applied two layer built-up roofing (BUR) system, the membranes are produced under a closely controlled system which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001 Marley Waterproofing National Account Manager for the Merchants Sector comments; "The new range of TGX Torch-On roofing membranes provides a cost effective solution for roofers working with restricted budgets".
