London-based Marble Arch has announced that it will be sponsoring the press stand at this month's London Stone Show 2004.

London-based Marble Arch, a leading supplier, manufacturer and installer of natural stone products for commercial and residential applications, has announced that it will be sponsoring the press stand at this month's London Stone Show 2004 In addition to showcasing a number of high-profile projects, Marble Arch managing director Robert Merry, will be delivering a seminar entitled: 'Making Stone Work in the UK Construction Industry', at 11.30am on the first day of the show

This will take place immediately following a drinks reception for the press to be held at 10.30am.

Merry's presentation will address the current demand for installing stone in the construction environment and will look at: * winning tenders * maintaining the quality of supply * client communication * using contract documentation to manage the process.

A member of the Stone Federation of Great Britain, Marble Arch's prestigious projects include Hilton Park Lane, Dolce and Gabanna, Pret a Manger, Derwent Valley Holdings plc, The Wates Group, Cadogan Estates, Walter Lilly and Interior plc.

Established in 1989 to meet the construction industry's demand for a high quality and reliable supplier and manufacturer of natural stone products, Marble Arch boasts a fully-equipped manufacturing facility and warehouse in central London.

The company has directly employed and trained fixing staff, a dedicated estimating department, a design service for all fixing and technical specifications and a network of international suppliers.

More recently the company has taken the lead by entering 18 employees in to the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS).

On successful completion, Marble Arch staff will receive a CSCS registration card proving that their skills have been validated against national standards and that they have acquired the appropriate health and safety knowledge to operate safely on site.
