Marcrist extends its diamond cutting range

A Marcrist product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Mar 12, 2010

Marcrist International, manufacturer of cutting, grinding and drilling tools, has launched its VC750 rip-cut carbide cluster blade.

VC750 is a multi purpose blade able to tackle jobs that a chainsaw can't; ripping through constructional timbers and railway sleepers and tree roots surrounded by soil, without blunting or clogging.

It creates a clean cut on all other types of timber, too, including decking, planks, MDF and shuttering.

VC750 also rips through sheet, tube and metal sections up to 5mm thickness along with asphalt, old tyres, plastics, flat roofing and damp coursing.

VC750 can also take on breeze, cellular and other soft block materials.

The blades on the VC750 are bi-directional, which means they can be run in either direction, helping increase life expectancy and providing better value for money for users.

The new range consists of 230mm and 300mm diameter blades.

The blades feature Marcrist's core protection system that reduces noise and vibration, and reducing fatigue for users and extends the life of the blade.

The addition of the VC750 to the Marcrist range of diamond cutting products means that the company is now able to provide end users with a complete carbide and diamond solution.

Stockists also have a single source for all diamond cutting, grinding and drilling, along with carbide rip-cut, requirements.

VC750 is guaranteed against segment failure, does not require sharpening and has been designed to ensure fast cutting speeds and low-noise.

The new carbide blade is suitable for a wide range of sectors including building, roofing and utility contractors along with demolition gangs, farmers, landscapers and most other demolition and construction activities.
