Multi Top Floor, manufacturer of luxury hardwood engineered flooring, supplied the perfect flooring solution for a luxury new property in St.Mawes, Cornwall.

Working in partnership with one of their valued partners, Woodstock Falmouth, Cornwall's leading specialist distributor of solid wood flooring and the principal contractor, Cathedral Builders of Truro, Multi Top Floor was chosen over its competitors' as it offers outstanding stability and when installed, displays a natural warmth and aesthetic appeal that complemented the property interior to perfection The brief dictated the need for a high performance wood floorcovering that would work in conjunction with the new wet system underfloor heating

The composition of Multi Top Floor ensures that movement, shrinking and expanding are virtually eliminated, thereby making it particularly ideal for use with underfloor heating providing that the board width does not exceed 200mm.

Woodstock supplied 340m2 of Multi Top Floor European Rustic Oak 200mm wide for installation throughout the property.

European Rustic Oak provides occasional large knots with splits and shakes, and a subtle colour variation that ensures that this wood remains as popular as ever.

The UK's leading architects and interior designers are increasingly specifying Multi Top Floor as they appreciate its unique composition as one of the most performance related real wood floorcoverings available on the market today.

Engineered to consist of a 5mm solid wood wear-layer and a 15mm exterior grade birch plywood core, Multi Top Floor is available in widths of 150mm to 260mm, with a wide range of finishes including American Black Walnut and Merbau.

"We offered our client a choice of wood flooring options for this luxury new house, but the premium quality of Multi Top Floor was evident in terms of durability and beauty".
