Leading construction and interiors specialist Multibuild is creating a new £1.75 million Lakeland Limited store in Cheshire.
The refurbishment team also installed a new floor with 3 different levels on the ground floor, to form a dance floor, stage, and lounge area within the open-plan bar.
The new floor, raised up to 2.5 metres in places, was used to effectively utilise the available space whilst also creating a sense of intimacy within a large area.
A mezzanine level was created for the new kitchen and toilet facilities, with the second and third floors converted into staff accommodation and a plant room.
The floors and walls in the basement were also treated with a waterproof membrane to eradicate problems with damp, creating additional storage space.
Commercial Director Damian Waters commented, "This has been an interesting and challenging project for Multibuild, to rejuvenate the original purpose-built cinema, giving it a whole new lease of life whilst retaining it's original charm." Multibuild undertakes nationwide construction and interiors contracts for an extensive portfolio of clients, including the leisure and hospitality trade.
