Multibuild new contract from The Living Room
Multibuild wins new GBP1.2 million contract to complete interior fit-out of a prestigious new The Living Room restaurant and bar in Bristol.
Multibuild, who undertook all fitting out and furnishing to a high specification, appointed Allison Pike Partnership as the architects for the project.
Allison Pike worked closely with Multibuild's Chief Executive Mike Peden throughout the project.
They all felt that a crisp modern minimalist approach would work well in a Technology Business Park and could create a stand-alone landmark building.
All Multibuild's detailed requirements were incorporated into the finished building.
The new white, three-storey office complex boasts a glazed ground floor, floating first floor on lightweight columns and a second floor which is set back to form a terrace.
Multibuild's Mike Peden comments, "The open-plan building features a curved drum-shaped corner entrance, which forms the central focal point linking all three floors and provides a dramatic entrance experience for all users of the building".
The impressive building, which also features state of the art equipment such as wireless networking and audiovisual systems and a Mediterranean style cafe bar for use by the staff, reflects Multibuild's status as a professional and high quality construction company.
Mike Peden concludes, "Overall this project pushed the boundaries of Multibuild's expertise and created a dramatic landmark headquarters from which Multibuild can continue to grow and prosper in the 21st Century.".
