The UK's leading construction and fit-out specialist, Multibuild, has completed its £1.25m transformation of an old cinema in the centre of Durham into a Walkabout Australian theme bar.
These will add to the growing list of successful projects in the hotel and leisure sector that Multibuild has to its credit.
The first project covers QHotel's Forest Pines Hotel in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire.
Under the terms of the £5.2 million, 32-weeks contract Multibuild will add a 3-storey timber-framed extension to the property.
The extension, whose construction will incorporate specially pre-manufactured bathroom pods, will add 75 new bedrooms (including two new suites) to the hotel.
A new 2-storey conference and banqueting centre will also be added, and Multibuild will relay and upgrade the hotel's driveways and car parking arrangements accordingly.
The second £1.8 million project will see Multibuild extend the premises of The Park Royal Hotel in Warrington, Cheshire.
The hotel's restaurant capacity will be increased and all public areas will be totally refurbished.
Additional changing room facilities will be added to the health club along with new sauna, steam room, reception and beauty suite facilities.
